We had the pleasure of connecting with Swati to ask a few questions!
What does diversity, equity, and professional inclusion mean to you?
This is such a big question, but the best way to explain it are my actions. It can be a small thing such as ensuring everyone has an opportunity to share their opinion in a day to day conversation or bigger things like providing advice and resources for greater access to opportunity.
How have you experienced and/or dealt with adversity in your professional and personal life?
I believe everyone has experienced or dealt with adversity in different ways in their life. The way I work through it is knowing that I have to take the best decision for myself despite the challenges, knowing I am in charge of the decisions that affect my life, including any consequences that may come with them. I take the consequences as learning opportunities and continue to move forward.
What would be one piece of advice you would give to your younger self?
Donβt worry about following a path like everyone else, just focus on finding your own.
Name three things that you do everyday to help lead you to success.
1. I ensure I start fresh every morning, and do not let the challenges of the day before affect how I start this new day.
2. I rest or take a break when I need to.
3. I check my email and calendar every night to ensure I am prepared for my next day.
Who inspires your professional ambition? Why?
I do. I have big goals and want to make a difference in the world. I have always been driven, and believe that inspiration needs to start from within.
What is your favorite book? Or the one you'd recommend most?
There are so many great books, but one I really enjoyed reading is The One Thing. It gave a really great perspective on how to approach work.
What are the top 3 things you'd like us to know about your business or company?
1. We focus in Customer Success Recruitment.
2. Our Mission is to create opportunities that are mutually beneficial, embracing the strengths and values of both individual and organization, ensuring professional satisfaction is a two-way street.
